How do I properly clean my laptop screen?
Irrespective of technical features such as panel or analysis, all laptop screens have something in common: dust. There is nothing more irritating to the owner of a laptop than the dust that accumulates on his screen, deforming the colors and reducing the brightness.
Many are reluctant to clean their laptop screen, fearing any damage they may inadvertently cause. And yet, cleaning a laptop screen is not a difficult matter, it comes to having two or three things in mind.
Use a cleaning cloth
The screens of modern laptops, fortunately for all of us, are more resistant to pressure and strain than those of older models. This does not, of course, mean that you can treat them with little care.
So get a special cleaning cloth in the design of your choice – make sure it is smooth and smooth, without lint and seams. With this, you can safely clean your laptop screen carefully and without applying too much pressure on it. It would be best if you clean your screen, your laptop is turned off, mainly because dust and stains are better off on a closed screen.
The usefulness of cleaning sprays
However, the cleaning cloth will not remove all stains from your laptop screen. Some “persistent” will remain and here is where you will use your next “gun”: a special spray cleaner. Some people insist on cleaning their laptop screen using water, which may, under certain conditions, cause irreparable damage.
Instead, you will use a special cleaning spray: you will carefully spray the microfibre cloth that usually accompanies it (if not, then you have to buy it separately) and applies it on the screen. Place a special emphasis on the point where it joins with its frame as it gathers most dust and you will see that within a few minutes it will have become as new!
Preventing the signs of the keyboard
In some cases, you will notice that on your laptop screen the keyboard shells are formed! First of all, do not worry, as it is a frequent phenomenon – especially in the case of heavy-duty porters and those that are often transported. This kind of contact will not hurt your laptop screen, but it will create dusty marks that are difficult to remove and this is a problem.
The solution here is again a microfibre cloth, and in particular, what was accompanying your laptop when it was purchased it was placed between the display and the keyboard. What you need to do is when you close your laptop, place such a cloth between the screen and its keyboard, preventing contact between these two parts – and largely preventing the transfer of dust from the second to the first.
In any case, be sure to regularly clean your laptop screen, always with proper attention and appropriate accessories. Be sure you will need to do the minimum effort while enjoying your computer screen in all its splendor.
